Sarah Gardner, LAc., is a state licensed and national board certified acupuncturist. She received her Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle in 1994.

Sarah specializes in the treatment of Chronic Illness and Immune System Recovery with an emphasis on depression and anxiety related disorders.

She has studied under Dr. Tran Viet Dzung, world-renowned teacher, who devotes his life to the translation, understanding and practice of ancient Chinese medical theory. Also, Lonnie Jarrett, LAc., who has translated many ancient texts as well, to discover the mental and emotional component which lays at the foundation of true health in Traditional Chinese Medical theory.

Sarah has also studied environmental medicine under Dr. Satya Ambrose, L.Ac, ND, teacher, lecturer and co-founder of The Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.

In addition, Sarah completed a three-part course in Constitutional Facial Renewal taught by Mary Elizabeth Wakefield LAc, an ancient technique used by royalty in China to naturally restore healthy tissue function in the face and neck. Treatments are a relaxing way to bring vitality to the face.

Sarah's focus on and compassion for people with chronic illness is welcome and rare...she brings her experience, knowledge, warmth, and a deep kindness to her work. I love that she combines ancient and modern Chinese Medicine philosophies and techniques and I always come away from her treatments with a feeling of release, relief, and relaxation...as if a heavy load has been lifted. Sarah wanted to hear about what factors may have come together to create illness and addressed my experience and quest for health with interest, care, extraordinary patience, and respect.
